Porac Bank commemorates its 50th-year milestone with a fundraising event for KidsCancervive, a local support group for children who are battling cancer. The Race for Hope was successfully last November 04, 2018, at the Clark Parade Grounds. Initially, the bank aimed to have at least 1,000 participants for the race. With joint efforts from the employees and the management, the bank surpassed its target by 100% as it registered a total of 2,000 runners. Slots were sold out and the bank managed to raise a total of P275,000 cash donations for its chosen beneficiary, the KidsCancerVive.The event was participated by well-known figures in the sports industry including Nico Huelgas, a Filipino professional triathlete who won the first gold medal in the men’s triathlon event in the 2015 SEA Games.  He also commended the bank and its philanthropic endeavors by posting on his social media platforms.
